Where Worries Fade and Dreams Come True

Guillotine Collective

is a non profit gallery, an anonymous artist group, a pre-copyright publishing house, and an alleged filmarchive. It’s beginnings date back to the early 13th century underground of venice carnavalls, and its traces are to be found amidst the ranters movement of 17th century England, in the possessed speaches by Hildegard von Bingen and the libertine salons and theatrical hoaxes of Radical Enlightment, the Paris Commune, Grub Street, the Ballus of Bengal, poetry of Zhuangzi, the Cargo Cults, Zulu Isicathamiya and many more. A platform, a project, a happening.

Exhibitions undo themselves, artist-imersonators long fallen over the margins of authorship, surplus value renegotiated through hyper-authentic reproduction as an act of forgetting we press release we release on the count of: 3-2-1. who is it calling? hello?
