ALL FAKE (Zastavkaya uliza, 11-B, St. Petersburg) is a bi-annual performance series housed inside a Soviet communal apartment (kommunalka). Seven crumbling rooms, a collapsing kitchen and a tiny space vaguely resembling a bathroom — dramatically lit and selectively infused with Voyage d’Hermès — become the stage for unscripted, maladjusted and unapologetically fake recitations from alleged classics of Russian drama.
